MasterChef Professionals' judge, and former senior sous chef at Le Gavroche, Monica Galetti is set to open her own restaurant named Mere in London's Fitzrovia.
Galetti will launch the new fine dining restaurant in January with her sommelier husband, David Galetti.
Situated over two floors, the 60-cover restaurant is on the basement level and will offer a seasonal menu with a lighter take on the classics and new yet-to-revealed dishes.
The ground floor bar has room for 20 guests and will offer cocktails and snacks.
The name, Mere, comes from a combination of the French word for Mother and the Samoan word for Mary, Galetti's mother.
