Giggling Squid opens in Brentwood


Giggling Squid, the Thai restaurant group, has opened a new restaurant on Brentwood High Street, Essex at the former Caffe Uno.

The new restaurant, which caters for up to 100 customers, will feature bar-style seating and will showcase handmade driftwood artwork by Giggling Squid co-founder Pranee Laurillard.

The restaurant will serve a lunch time and a dinner menu which will include seafood, curries, stir fries, meat dishes, rice and noodles.

The restaurant will also feature a new ‘Little Tapas for Little People’ which will offer two dishes of smaller versions of Giggling squid favorites.

The new restaurant is the 21st site for Giggling Squid which operates restaurants across the UK including Berkhamsted, Billericay, Brighton, Bury St Edmunds, Clifton, Esher, Farnham, Henley, Horsham, Guildford, Hove, Marlow, Norwich, Reigate, Salisbury, Sevenoak, Stratford-upon-Avon, Tunbridge Wells, Warwick and Wokingham.
