Pizza Express opens in Weston-super-Mare


Pizza Express has just opened a new restaurant in Dolphin Square, Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, bringing a refreshing mixture of classic design with a modern twist to the heart of the town centre. The new opening will bring 30 additional jobs to the local economy.

The 127-seater restaurant, which draws heavy inspiration from the nearby pier and beach, boasts striped fabric chairs and banquette seating, studded lighting above the Pizzaiola kitchen area and timber beach hut frames and booth seating, which provide private dining spaces. There is also external seating in the mall at the front of the restaurant.

Restaurant Manager, Kirsty Sims, said, 'I am incredibly excited to be bringing the nation's best-loved pizza to Weston-super-Mare and to be at the helm of such a great team.'

Dolphin Square is part of the Weston Town Centre Regeneration Programme that will see improvements to key development sites and infrastructure projects and help to remove barriers and positively encourage investment within the town.

The vision for the town centre is focused around the themes of living, learning and lifestyle, with plans to attract more people to live in the in the town centre creating a lively, university town which will further improve the local economy.
