Just Eat announces largest recruitment drive for three years


Just Eat, the leading global marketplace for online food delivery, today announces it is recruiting 150 tech-focused roles within its growing technology team.

The jobs are spread across Just Eat’s two UK tech centres. The investment will increase the size of Just Eat’s UK tech and product teams, with 80 brand new roles, and represents the platform’s largest recruitment drive in three years.

The newly-created roles span all levels – from entry level to highly experienced – and include associate engineers, principal engineers and technology managers. The bolstered technology team will focus on further enhancing user experience for both customers and restaurant partners, as well as offering greater performance insight to help better support its 28,900 restaurant partners in the UK.

In the past 18 months, Just Eat has hired over 200 engineers, developers, and data scientists globally. Once the 150 Bristol and London-based roles have been filled, Just Eat’s UK technology team, based across both sites will consist of almost 650 people.

Just Eat’s technology team beats the industry average retention findings with an impressive 92% retention in its Bristol tech centre.
