JJ & FOODit launch Win a Website campaign

National wholesaler JJ Foodservice is offering restaurants and caterers the chance to win a free online ordering website by sharing pictures of their most unique dishes on social media.

The wholesaler is the parent company of restaurant-website builder FOODit and is launching the ‘Win a Website’ campaign following a successful giveaway for National Fish and Chip Day last year.

Senior Product Manager at FOODit, Paul Sharp, said, “Last year The Meriden Fish Bar won with their quirky pea fritter! They’ve since launched their own website with us and sales keep going up.”

Manager of the Watford-based takeaway, Bobbie, said, “Since getting our own website we’ve been able to expand [our customer base] further out into Watford. We can serve people much quicker and manage the website totally independently. Our takeaway comes up higher on Google Search Engines which has really helped to spread the word about our gluten-free offer.”

She added, “Now we have gluten-free Thursdays on top of Fridays and we are always seeing new people come through the door.”

This year’s campaign is taking place exclusively for National Burger Week (23 August), World Vegetarian Day (1 October) and National Curry Week (9 October).

Caterers simply need to send a picture of their best dish via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram to @jjfoodservice with the hashtag #JJBangingBurger, #JJCurryKing or #JJVeggyLeggy.
