Ei announces new venture with Urban Pubs & Bars

Ei Managed Investments, the Ei Group business which invests alongside industry-leading managed house operators, has just launched Urban Pubs and Bars Two, a partnership with Nick Pring and Malc Heap, the Founders of Urban Pubs & Bars.

The Paradise by Way of Kensal Green, the Royal Oak in Harlesden, and the Rose Pub & Kitchen in New Cross, will be Urban Two’s first three pubs. They previously operated as part of Urban Pubs & Bars and are Ei Group sites. The pubs will continue to operate in exactly the same format, with each having their own individual style, catering to the needs of their local areas.

Malc Heap said, “Having worked with Ei Group for many years, we are delighted to be partnering with their Managed Investments business. Our team is passionate about food and drink and we look forward to exploring new areas in London.”

Nathan Wall, Operations Director for Ei Managed Investments, added, “Ei Managed Investments goes from strength to strength, partnering with some of the country’s most exciting managed house operators. We’ve worked closely with Nick and Malc for years and are delighted to be able to combine forces for Urban Pubs and Bars Two.”

Managed Investments has grown rapidly since its launch in May 2015. Urban Two will be Ei Managed Investments’ 11th Managed Investments partner as the business continues to work with industry-leading managed house operators and benefit from their individual retail capabilities. Other expert partners include Rupert Clevely, with Hippo Inns, Karen Jones, with Frontier Pubs, and Ben Stackhouse, with PubLove.
