Taylor Shaw, the specialist education caterer has set up a food kiosk in one of its school contracts in a bid to reduce queues at its main school kitchen. The new catering facility is at Biddick School Sports College in Washington, Tyne and Wear and was designed and installed by Upnorth Foodservice equipment. ‘The Hub’ (as it is known) features bespoke catering equipment providing hot and cold food and drinks for students on the go and following its success it will now be rolled out to 12 more schools and colleges by the end of 2012.
