The latest Jack’s stores have opened in Middlewich and Rubery, with customers queuing up to see what the new stores had to offer.
Jack’s Area Manager for Rubery, Tony Sinkinson, said, “It’s fantastic to open the new store and welcome customers in Rubery. I’m delighted that as well as offering great tasting food at the lowest possible prices, the store will also be giving back to our community through the Jack’s Supports scheme.”
Jack’s Area Manager for Middlewich, Kate Forth, added, “Following successful openings in Merseyside it was great to open the store in Middlewich. The hard work of colleagues has made this possible and we’re really excited to start serving customers.”
Part of the Tesco Family, Jack’s is a new brand and new stores offering great tasting food that is grown, reared or made in Britain at the lowest possible prices to bring customers outstanding value. 8 out of 10 food and drink products will be grown, reared or made in Britain.
As well as offering great products at low prices, Jack’s will also play a key part in the local community. ‘Jack’s Supports’ will give back by funding local projects using the money raised by the sale of carrier bags. Soon Jack’s will be inviting charity groups and good causes to apply to be part of the next round of the scheme.
Just like in Tesco, the new Jack’s stores will also take part in Tesco’s Community Food Connection scheme. Working with UK food redistribution charity FareShare, it will ensure any unsold food safe for human consumption is offered to local charities and community groups for free at the end of the day.
