Best Western Adds First New Hotels To Plus Brand

Hotel chain Best Western has announced it has added its first new hotels to its Plus portfolio of venues, which was created towards the end of last year to distinguish the difference between the group’s hotels by facilities and hotel standards. The two hotels now joining the Plus brand are the Maldron Hotel in Cardiff (pictured) and the Park Grand London Heathrow Gateway, both of which are newly built hotels and between them hold 328 high quality bedrooms, and conference facilities for 300 people. The Plus brand itself its defined by bigger beds, top quality bedding, and extended breakfast range, bathrobes, additional complimentary toiletries and increased comfort and technology. There are now 18 of these within the Best Western portfolio. The company continues to be independently owned and managed but must meet strict criteria set by the Best Western International.
