JJ Foodservice scoops two accolades at FWD Gold Awards

JJ Food Service has won two awards last night – the 'Service to Caterers' and 'Digital Innovation' Awards – at the Federation of Wholesale Distributor’s (FWD) annual Awards evening in London.

Judges praised JJ's for its new Amazon-style delivery notifications, reported to be an industry first, which have helped to improve service and convenience for caterers.

The business has further improved service with the launch of the JJ Mastercard, which currently offers UK restaurants and takeaways more than £4m in interest-free credit.

Chief Operating Office for JJ Foodservice, Mushtaque Ahmed (pictured second right), said, 'Wholesaling is changing dramatically and our team has been constantly innovating and adapting to meet the growing needs and challenges of our catering customers. We see ourselves as a 'true business partner' to the independent caterer and look forward to working together with our customers for generations to come.'

The FWD Gold Awards were launched to recognise and reward excellence in the wholesale channel and is attended by 800 guests from the UK’s top wholesalers, cash & carries and manufacturers.
