Ex-Hakkasan Group Marketing VP joins Home House

Luxury private members’ club, Home House has announced the appointment of Claire Ashman to its senior leadership team.

Ashman will be taking on the role of Sales & Marketing Director for Home House and the group’s new business-orientated club, Home Grown, opening on Great Cumberland Place, Marylebone in spring 2019.

Ashman’s appointment comes following a three-month consultancy contract with the group, which saw her focus on corporate and brand strategy planning. In her permanent role, Claire will oversee all branding, marketing and communications for the group to drive awareness, secure market position and increase sales across both sites.

With over 18 years of marketing experience, Ashman was previously Vice President of Global Brand Marketing at Hakkasan Group during which she built a central, multi-disciplined marketing team and rolled out global campaigns in new markets and sectors, most notably the opening of six restaurants in locations including Shanghai, Oslo and Mykonos.

Prior to Hakkasan Group, Ashman worked within the entertainment sector both in-house and agency-side including senior roles for Bestival, Pacha and Angel Music Group, as well as agencies Slice and Pretty Green where she was recruited to oversee the growth of the agency’s culture and entertainment division, working with consumer brands such as John Lewis, Red Bull and Nando’s.

Andrew Richardson, Managing Director of Home House and Home Grown, commented, “It’s fantastic to have Claire joining us at such an exciting period of growth and change. Claire brings with her a wealth of experience and a fresh approach. She will be integral to the opening of our new club, Home Grown, and the continued development of Home House.”

Ashman said, “It’s a real pleasure to be working with the Home House team – the company is highly respected in the industry, and I’m excited to be on board for its next phase of growth. I’ve spent many years working with established, high-growth brands in a range of sectors, and look forward to applying my experience to the launch of Home Grown, a modern and forward-thinking members club that brings something fresh and exciting to the capital”.
