Sleaford Quality Foods further extend sugar & salt renovation

One of the UK's most foremost suppliers of ingredients, Sleaford Quality Foods, cross-category supplier of multiple packaged foods, have pledged to further renovate sugar and salt from its range.

The new programme encompasses soups, stuffings, jelly crystals, bakery mixes, gravies, sweet and savoury sauce mixes.

The aim is to deliver sugar and salt levels below the March 2018 recommendations from Public Health England.

Commercial Director Sonja Bentley commented, “Every food producer has responsibility for improving the health and wellbeing of UK consumers, our renovation programme is just one way in which Sleaford steps up and delivers our contribution.”

Established in 1968 by the Arnold Family in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, Sleaford Quality Foods has gone from being a small local family-run business to a leading supplier of high quality ingredients, distributing goods both nationally and internationally.

In 2010, Sleaford Quality Foods was acquired by Jain Group of India.
