TRG Concessions launches new concept at Edinburgh Airport

TRG Concessions have opened a new American grill concept at Edinburgh Airport. The New York grill inspired bar and kitchen opened its doors at Edinburgh Airport today. The food and drink is inspired heavily by the Meatpacking District, located on the far west side of Manhattan.

For breakfast, expect to see delicious comfort food in the form of corned beef hash, buttermilk pancakes and Campbells Scottish breakfast which is also available as an all-day option. For dinner the grill inspired menu includes; steaks, burgers and ribs from local butcher Campbells and are all cooked on the state of the art open flame Robata grill.

Alongside the grill there is a selection of sourdough pizzas, tasty salads, crab mac and cheese, the Reuben sandwich, fish and chips and a selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

For little ones, a dedicated children’s menu includes breakfast and all day options at just £5.95 for a main dish and a drink, including Fluffy pancakes with seasonal fruit, a Classic hamburger, and Little Ceasar salad.

The drink range at Hudson is also inspired by the classic bars of New York and will serve up a selection of craft beers on tap and in bottles, bourbons and whiskies, wines and local gins alongside signature cocktails including the New York Sour, Sazerac, and the old fashioned.

Signature features of the new restaurant include the Robata flame grill, the domed pizza oven and open theatre kitchen where guests can watch the chefs at work.

Nick Ayerst, Managing Director of TRG Concessions, said, “We are so excited Hudson St. Grill is now open. The passengers at Edinburgh Airport are in for something completely different. Hudson St. Grill is authentic and offers the terminal a magnetic point of difference. It is truly a unique dining experience.”

Gail Taylor, Director of Retail and Property, said, “Being at the airport is always a big day for our passengers, whether they are heading off on holiday, celebrating with family abroad or going to that important business meeting, so we want to build on that excitement by offering new and unique dining experiences like Hudson St. Grill.'

Taylor finished, 'We’re looking forward to seeing the reaction from our passengers, and even tasting the menu ourselves!”
