The Gentlemen Baristas to open at New Oxford Street this month

Well-mannered coffee connoisseurs, The Gentlemen Baristas, are launching their ninth site at London's newly-developed New Oxford Street in late August.

The new coffee house will provide visitors to the West End with a superlative caffeine fix, using beans from The Gentlemen Baristas’ nearby Shadwell roastery, alongside an all-day menu, with the option to take away.

To celebrate the opening, the gents will be serving up free coffee from 8am to 5pm on launch day - the exact day to be announced soon.

Founders of The Gentlemen Baristas, Ed Parkes and Henry Ayers, will be bringing their characteristic service-led approach to the New Oxford Street site, focusing on a quality coffee offering served with old fashioned good manners.

The coffee house will offer a range of espresso-based drinks, from long blacks to lattes, fresh Guernsey milk from The Estate Dairy and a range of alternative milks from Minor Figures. Batch brews will satisfy filter lovers, while tea drinkers can enjoy an extensive selection from Chash Fine Tea Co.

The drinks offering will be complemented by an all-day dining menu, from breakfast pastries and breakfast pots such as smoked salmon, egg, spinach, zaatar and olive, to a range of all-new sandwich flavours, including vegan falafels, harissa yoghurt chicken and taleggio and caramelised onion.

Ed Parkes commented,” We’re incredibly excited to be bringing well-mannered coffee to New Oxford Street this summer. The area is new to us and we’re looking forward to becoming a big part of the ever expanding community in WC1. Free coffees on us on launch day!”
