KFC plans five new sites in North Wales

Yum! Brands-owned fast food chain, KFC is scouring the UK for the best places to launch new sites.

The company, which currently has around 850 branches in the UK, has earmarked six towns in North Wales for new openings, where the brand has 10 outlets.

The five areas include Queensferry, Flint at the Broughton Shopping Park, Mold, Wrexham, and Bangor.

At Queensferry - where KFC already has a high street restaurant, a new drive-through close to the Asda store is an option..

The group also wants a new drive-through site in Wrexham to join its existing restaurant in the town centre.

In Bangor, an out-of-town restaurant is planned to join the exisiting one in the city centre.
