Three more hotels set for Mercure rebrand by Accor

Accor, in an agreement with real estate property group, Proark, is to rebrand another three Park Inn hotels in the UK under its Mercure portfolio.

As reported last month, three hotels have been refurbished and rebrand - the 121-bed Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel (pictured), the 153-bed Mercure Telford Centre Hotel and 172-bed Mercure Nottingham Sherwood Hotel.

Set to be rebranded by the end of the is the 132-bed Mercure Cardiff North Hotel, the 168-bed Mercure Birmingham West Hotel, and the 119-bed Mercure Harlow Hotel. These sites are currently being marketed under their name, followed by the appendix 'by Accorhotels'.

Michael Brag, chairman of Proark said, “We have worked closely with Accor since signing this portfolio of hotels and are extremely pleased with the result of the refurbishments.

“Each hotel has the Mercure service and features guests expect but they offer local touches too, which we are confident will be well received by business and leisure travellers alike.”

The six properties join around 100 Mercure properties in the UK, and over 750 worldwide, and leaves Park Inn with around 12 UK hotels.
