Costa kcks off 2020 with largest vegan offer on new menu

Costa Coffee is easing the January blues with the launch of its Limited Edition January menu, with the largest ever vegan offering.

New in is the Vegan Smoky Ham & CheeZe Toastie (pictured), a take on Costa Coffee’s iconic Classic Ham & Cheese Toastie, but made without meat or dairy. The Quorn Smoky Ham and tasty melted CheeZe offering is sandwiched between two slices of freshly toasted golden vegan bread.

Costa has partnered with Bol and Deliciously Ella, with all menu items entirely gluten-free and vegan.

There's the new BOL Japanese Rainbow Salad - just pour the delicious dressing over the vibrant plant-powered jar of black rice, turtle beans, raw rainbow slaw, leafy greens and protein-rich edamame. Plus there's Deliciously Ella Berry Granola, a balanced meal of raisins, nuts & seeds packed full of fibre and protein – not to mention its vegan and gluten-free.

Also new is the Vegan Chilli Bean and Rice Pot, featuring cooked white rice with spicy chilli tomato sauce, red kidney beans, meat-free mince, roasted red pepper and a fresh serving of coriander.

January sale shoppers can pick up one of Costa Coffee’s brand new gluten-free Millionaire’s Shortbread or opt for a vegan Protein Nut Mix for something a little different.

Customers can mix up their usual morning coffee choice with the new Coconut trio drinks range; three handcrafted drinks - Coconut Flat White, Coconut Vanilla Latte and Coconut Hot Chocolate.

Following a hugely successful response in November and December, plant-based coconut, almond and soya including lactofree milk, will continue to be available free of charge for a limited period, meaning more great tasting options to explore in the New Year.

Ruby Cocoa Hot Chocolate, a pink-hued hot chocolate topped with cream, is guaranteed to pop on social media feeds. Costa Coffee will be first coffee shop to launch this type of coffee on the High Street. A stunning rose-coloured hot chocolate; lusciously smooth with a hint of fruitiness, made from natural ruby cocoa beans.

To complement the new ruby beverage there's the Strawberry Croissant, a flaky vegan croissant filled with strawberry jam.
