Bidfood’s Andy Kemp to speak at Arena Savoy Lecture 2020


Dr Andy Kemp MBE will take to the podium in March to deliver the Arena Savoy Lecture 2020, where he will share his extensive experience of the foodservice and hospitality industry.

The group sales and marketing director at Bidfood will also offer an insight into the challenges that have shaped his career and his influence on the industry.

Awarded an MBE in June 2019 and an Honorary Doctorate from the University of West London in 2017 for his outstanding services to foodservice and hospitality, Kemp is a well-known and respected leader in the industry who has been integral to the evolution and growth of Bidfood.

He is a committed supporter of industry charities, including Springboard and Hospitality Action, serves as a National officer of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, is a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, and a founding member of the One and All Foundation, which supports diversity and opportunity for all in hospitality.

Kemp is also committed to the protection of school meals and lessening the impact of holiday hunger, advising and working closely with LACA, Government Advisory Committees, All-Party Parliamentary Groups and Sharon Hodgson MP.

The Arena Savoy Lecture is well-attended by senior, influential leaders from across the industry, offering the attendees the opportunity to build valuable business relationships with over 200 senior individuals from key foodservice and hospitality companies.

The event will be held at the Savoy hotel on Monday 9 March 2020, kicking off with Kemp's formal presentation and followed by a drinks reception and three-course dinner aimed at maximising industry networking opportunities.
