Nandos temporarily closes 400 restaurants

Casual dining chain, Nandos closed all of its 400 restaurants across the country last night until further notice. This is an update to the previous message on 20 March, which had confirmed that the click & collect option and delivery service were still up and running.

The company posted the following message:
'The safety and security of our customers and team is always our top priority and with this in mind we have taken the decision to temporarily close all of our restaurants across the UK and Ireland to help limit the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

Eat in, takeaway and delivery for customers will all stop until further notice and our remaining food will be given away to those who need it most across the community.

We look forward to firing up the grills again and serving you some Perii-Peri as soon as possible, but in the meantime stay home, help those in need and we’ll see you soon.'
