Costa reopens 29 sites for deliveries & drive throughs

Coffee shop chain, Costa has just reopened 29 stores for deliveries via Uber Eats and Drive-Thrus.

The news follows the reopening of two Drive-Thru lanes in Manchester and Mansfield, and two stores in Manchester and Bristol on 24 April.

Seventeen 'Drive-Thru' sites are now open to all customers, although they are intended to offer critical and key workers the chance to enjoy a Costa on essential journeys.

Twelve additional stores are now open for delivery only. Customers can order their favourite coffee, sandwiches and snacks from the comfort of their own home via Uber Eats.

CEO Jill McDonald said, 'As part of re-opening these additional stores, we are continuing to help support everyone who’s keeping the country moving, delivering thousands of our Ready-to-Drink Costa Coffee cans to key workers near those stores reopening, including hospitals, police and fire stations and NHS call centres. It’s just one of our small tokens of appreciation to the people out there who are giving so much.

'Whilst most of our stores remain closed we continue to pay our store team members 100% pay and are incredibly grateful to those who have volunteered to work across these reopening stores.'
