Brakes’ food products were once again the star of the show, as it swept the board at the Cash & Carry Management CCM Chefs’ Own-Brand Awards 2020, with 16 category wins, including all four ‘Best of the Best’ awards.
The awards reflect the continuing dominance of Brakes as foodservice’s premiere food brand, and follows 11 wins at the most recent Q Awards and 16 accolades at the Chefs’ Choice Awards in March 2020.
The awards – now in their third year – recognise the top foodservice own-brand products in the wholesale industry, and are significant, since the judging panel consists of expert chefs from the Craft Guild of Chefs, the leading chefs’ association in the UK. Judging was conducted in blind tastings and four of the products were deemed so good that they were awarded a ‘Best of the Best’ accolade.
