Sixes to open fourth venue in Birmingham this January

Social entertainment concept, Sixes is set to open its fourth clubhouse in Birmingham on 8 January 2022, which will join the two London sites and the one in Manchester that opened in August.

Located at Wharfside Street in the city’s Mailbox, the new site will feature three high-tech batting nets, with a bar and restaurant for cocktails, beers and BBQ food.

Thanks to Sixes’ state-of-the-art technology, the level of challenge can be scaled up or down to suit the batter at the crease, making it as much fun for an eight-year-old’s birthday party as it would be for the Warwickshire squad’s Christmas party.

Cocktails will include Sixes signatures such as Eton Mess, Ashes Manhattan, Sixes Fruit Cup and Tea Time - what could be more British than watching cricket whilst sipping on a cocktail containing actual Yorkshire Tea?

The Sixes menu offers British meats and vegetables which are flamed, roasted and grilled on the Robata grill then presented in a relaxed and easy to share format.

Dishes include low and slow chicken wings, house-smoked sausages to order by the half metre, overnight coals sweet potato, next-level vegan burger, mac & cheese croquettes, smoked chicken Caesar salad, and the signature Sixes meat volcano.

Sixes also shows the best live sport at its clubhouses, so settle in and watch the action unfold in the nets and on the numerous TV screens.

Founder Calum Mackinnon said, “We are incredibly excited to be opening Sixes Birmingham. Just like us, the people of Birmingham love their sport. We firmly believe that cricket is an inclusive game and our mission at Sixes is to bring people together through sport and great hospitality.

“We look forward to welcoming the people of Birmingham to challenge their skills on our high-tech cricket simulators and explore our fantastic menu.”
