Swansea Valley pub reopens after SA Brain revamp investment

The Ynyscedwyn Arms in the Swansea Valley has reopened following a six-figure investment by SA Brain & Co.

Situated in the quaint town of Ystradgynlais and on the banks of the River Tawe, The Ynyscedwyn Arms Hotel offers affordable accommodation, good quality food and a function room for hire.

Following an extensive refurbishment, the Brains-owned pub has now reopened under a new five-year agreement between Wales’ biggest hospitality company and tenants Paul and Steph Nolan.

Gareth Johns, Head of Tenanted Division at Brains, said, “Paul and Steph have run the Ynyscedwyn Arms successfully for a number of years as partners of Brains, we are very pleased to have invested with them in re-invigorating the pub which has long been at the heart of the community and town.

“We hope that customers new and old will enjoy the Ynyscedwyn Arms for many years to come, making the most of the excellent food, drink and accommodation which is on offer.

“Whether you are a local or visitor to the area, warm hospitality awaits.”
