The Royal Cornwall Show returns to Wadebridge, Cornwall between 8th and 10th June.
The show is the county’s largest annual event and is a wonderful mix of adrenaline-fuelled action and rural living rolled into one chocka weekend of entertainment for everyone.
The death-defying motocross displays are exciting enough, but add an air show from the RAF Falcons into the mix and there will be some rapid heartbeats in the crowd. But this is a country show at heart, so the thrill of the mounted games and show-jumping are a more traditional way to get your pulse racing. Livestock competitions and parades are still the main attraction, but you’ll also find a flower show, Cornish crafts, an exhibition of steam, a military band and the festival of dance.
All that action and participation is bound to make you hungry, at which point you should head to the Cornwall Food & Farming Pavilion. An Aladdin’s cave of Cornish produced food and drink under one roof, the pavilion allows you to sample and buy a plethora of mouth-watering Cornish delicacies and meet the people behind them, whether established business or new start-ups. Around the ground, you’ll find stands selling other quality food and drink to keep you fed and watered in a quality fashion.
