Plateau to launch dating supper clubs with virtual reality space

Plateau restaurant will launch a series of events on 23 May in collaboration with friendship and dating start-up, MayBmore, to provide a totally unique supper club experience that combines more conventional ways of meeting new people with exciting, interactive technology.

With exclusive access to a virtual reality experience, produced by Virtual Reality Experiences Ltd, and the use of the ground-breaking Tilt Brush by Google, guests will have the opportunity to get creative as well as enjoy a delicious three-course meal with paired wine in the private dining room of Plateau restaurant in Canary Wharf.

The Tilt Brush by Google provides a virtual reality space in which guests can create their own 3D artwork. Using this innovative tool, Maybmore aims to prove the theory that sharing a new experience can be the perfect ice-breaker as guests see what masterpieces others create as well as explore their own artistic side.

The French-inspired menu from Plateau’s Head Chef, Jeremy Trehout, includes Ham hock terrine with prune and date chutney; Pan-fried sea bream with crushed potatoes; Parsley and white onion risotto with 24-month aged parmesan; and Chocolate pots with almond milk foam.

With outstanding views over the city, Plateau offers the perfect location for a new dating event in the Capital alongside fantastic food and a completely unique high-tech experience that promises to spark guests’ creativity.
