Michel Roux Jr partners with The Langham to launch pub

Michel Roux Jr is teaming up with The Langham, the London five-star hotel, to launch The Wigmore pub this summer.

The 'traditional British tavern with a luxury accent' will be connected to the hotel but have its own Regent Street entrance. It will be situated in the former banking hall and be art deco styled.

The menu, overseen by Roux Jr, will include dishes such as Devilled Lamb’s Kidneys, Paprika-glazed Short Rib with bone marrow crumb, and Raised Veal & Ham Pie.

The drinks list is being compiled by the team behind the hotel’s Artesian cocktail bar, previously hailed as the best in the world.

Beverages will include several cask ales and craft beers, such as a house brew made by Bermondsey’s Brew By Numbers, along with a wide range of wines, and beer-infused cocktails and punches.
