Belsazar Botanical Garden terrace launches today at Old Bengal Bar


As part of the D&D London group-wide #BlossomCity17 campaign, Old Bengal Bar has today transformed its terrace for the summer into lush botanical garden serving a menu of exclusive cocktails created in partnership with premium vermouth brand, Belsazar.

German wine aperitif, Belsazar, has re-invigorated the vermouth category by using fresh, high quality wines to create its four different varieties: Red, White, Rose´ and Dry.

The partnership with Old Bengal Bar will see Bar Manager, Tomas Vykopal, devise a range of cocktails incorporating fresh herbs, teas, fruits and premium mixers to enhance the complex herbal notes of each of the four different Belsazar vermouths.

Light and fruity frozen cocktail, Frose´, featuring Belsazar Rose´ mixed with rose´ wine, strawberry puree and agave syrup, is set to compete with Rose´-T, a refreshing combination of Belsazar Rose´ and Fever Tree Tonic, for the title of this summer’s go-to sundowner. Spritz Me Up will combine Belsazar Dry and Amaretto with Fever Tree elderflower tonic to create a sweet, almond-flavoured cocktail.

An additional bespoke blend, Bubble Trouble, will shake pineapple and oregano-infused Belsazar White with vodka and agave´ syrup for a drink that captures the essence of summer.

Finally, Vermouth Punch combines Belsazar Red, Sparkling Wine and Hibiscus Tea finished with slices of fresh pineapple and orange for a tropical tipple fit for a botanical terrace.

These unique blends will be available for guests to enjoy until 30 September 2017.
