Sanctuary Care to open three new care homes

Sanctuary Care is to add three care homes to its portfolio, which will be developed by LNT Construction, with the transaction brokered by Christie & Co,

The new care homes will have approximately 60 bedrooms and be situated in Pensby in Merseyside, Devizes in Wiltshire, and Nantwich in Cheshire.

This is the second time that Sanctuary, a provider of high-quality care services for older people with over 60 homes across England, has acquired care developments from LNT following an initial portfolio of nine new homes which they acquired through Christie & Co in 2012.

Nick Broadbent, Development Director of LNT, commented, “We are delighted to be working with Sanctuary on these new projects which stand as testament to the importance we place on developing long term and collaborative relationships with our customers.

'The LNT product has evolved considerably to meet operator requirements but our core proposition, delivering a full turnkey package at a fixed price, remains unchanged.”

Bernard Wynne, Head of Development – Care at Christie & Co, added, “With construction times now averaging 46 weeks and a pallet of design options, LNT offers a low risk and effective solution to development procurement which is widely recognised by operators, funders and investors.

'The demand for care beds continues and we are pleased to be continuing to help operators acquire new builds as well as existing care facilities to add to their portfolios.”
