RBH appoints new Chief Commercial Officer

Redefine|BDL Hotels (RBH) has today announced that Sabina Shaida has joined the company’s Executive Committee as Chief Commercial Officer.

Based in RBH’s London office, Sabina will lead the company’s commercial strategy across its extensive portfolio of more than 45 properties.

Drawing on more than 30 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry, Sabina will work across RBH’s branded properties including IHG, Hilton, Accor, Marriott and Wyndham Hotels, as well as the company’s private label hotels.

Her role will include bringing together the Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing and Procurement functions into one cohesive commercial team with a focused strategy.

Sabina said: “With my extensive experience in the industry, working across both hotels and tour operators, I can’t wait to get started with RBH. I’m especially delighted to join the team at such an exciting time, as the business expands into Europe whilst operating an interesting and varied portfolio of quality properties across the UK.”

Helder Pereira, RBH’s Chief Executive Officer, said, “Sabina is an exceptionally experienced marketer with a strong track record in the hospitality industry. Having someone of Sabina’s calibre serves to galvanise our already strong Executive Committee as we embark on an exciting and challenging journey – with expansion into Europe and plenty of projects in the pipeline in the UK.

“We are continuing to see our executive team grow, bringing a wealth of talent and consolidating RBH’s position as one of the leading independent hotel management companies in Europe.”

Sabina is the second senior appointment to be announced by RBH this year, following the appointment of Tom Goldscheider, who came on board in February to lead the company’s expansion into Europe.
