Bufle has opened on Soho's Rupert Street serving up authentic bubble-waffles, and is on a mission to put this cult Asian export on the map in Britain.
Each bubble-waffle is made to the traditional recipe, cooked fresh to order, folded into a cone, and served with gelato such as matcha green tea, red miso & caramel, and lychee & rosewater.
The gelato is then topped with a range of sweet treats like mini chocolate beans, marshmallows, Oreos and wafers, along with a selection of sauces.
The bar at Bufle offers bubbles, hard shakes and expertly crafted cocktails, curated by head barmen Tom Campbell and George Cunningham, formerly of Guns&Smoke. Cocktails include white sake sangria, plum sake sour and strawberry bellini.
Each drink has been designed to be enjoyed on its own or alongside a bubble-waffle, curated with matching and complementing ingredients.
Bufle is open from 11am until 12pm throughout the week.
