New casual dining concept Toast to open in Edinburgh

A brand new casual dining restaurant and cafe called Toast is set to launch in Leith in Edinburgh today.

The 64-cover venue, which will offer a ‘casual coffee and food experience,’ is located in a former art gallery on the Shore.

The all-day menu, which has been created by Head Chef Lizzie Arber, includes classic breakfast dishes, artisanal salads, soups and sourdough sandwiches for lunch and sharing platters and tapas-style plates in the evening. There will also be vegan and gluten-free options.

Toast will also feature a carefully-curated, predominantly, biodynamic, organic and natural wine list.
