Norfolk retail park with F&B outlet planned

Stapleford Commercial Group has submitted plans to build a new retail park with units of up to 25,000 sq ft in Thetford, Norfolk, which could create more than 200 jobs.

The development would consist of six terrace retail units, with the largest unit, including a possible garden centre, likely to be occupied by B&M.

Known as the Breckland Retail Park, on a site that has been unused since 2009, there will also be a standalone building which will be used as cafe or restaurant space.

Stapleford Commercial Group, which is headed up by Neil Searle, hopes the new park will help to reduce the number of people travelling outside of Thetford to shop.
