Grade II-listed Hull tavern comes to market

Punch Hotel, which is situated in the centre of Hull, has come to market through Fleurets, with a leasehold price tag of £65k.

A classic example of a Victorian tavern, the venue is an impressive three-storey building, decorated externally with ornate stone detailing, designed by Smith, Broderick and Lowther.

Originally dating from 1845, the property was rebuilt in 1895-6 as commissioned by the Hull Brewery Company as part of a redevelopment of the area. Grade II-listed, the tavern is recognised as a masterpiece of architecture.

The Punch Hotel sits adjacent to Princes Quay in the city’s central square and opposite the town hall and Maritime Museum.

Simon Hall from Fleurets commented, “It has never been a better time to invest in Hull. As a result of being the 2017 City of Culture, Hull is receiving a high proportion of investment, and this business already has a net turnover of £400,000.'
