Peckham Rye multi-storey car park to welcome indie F&B operators


Peckham Levels is to bring independent food and beverage operators to Peckham Rye's multi-storey car park.

Peckham Levels, in partnership with Southwark Council, exists to help creative and ambitious local people get their ideas off the ground, and has set about using unused spaces. The aim to to open all 90,000 sqft, seven levels of the Peckham Rye car park.

The car park currently houses Frank's on the tenth floor 10, a bar with stunning South London views, and the Peckhamplex cinema on the ground floor.

This October, the fifth and sixth floors will become home to seven resident food traders, two new bars and a cafe.

Drum & Flats will serve up chicken wings doused in homemade sauce, having launched at the nearby Peckham Springs. Nandine will offer Kurdish mezze, Canard will have confit duck reimagined as street food, and Brixton Pop residents Otherside Fried will serve up fried chicken burgers.

New cafe, West, will bring natural wines and Californian-style breakfasts to the floor. And finally, Made of Dough pizzeria, which has just opened its first permanent site nearby, will be setting up its Lady Godiva craft beer bar.
