The Bold Forester pub in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is to close for two weeks to undergo a six-figure refurbishment.
The Hungry Horse venue will be closing its doors on August 21, the revamped pub will relaunch on September 6.
The bar area will have a complete makeover and will feature multiple screens showing sport and a new sound system. The beer garden will also be extended with additional seating and outdoor lighting.
In addition to the refurbishment, the pub will expand its drinks range with the introduction of cask ales. Also, food deals will include 2 for 1 burgers on Mondays, curry and a drink for £5 on Wednesdays and £1 drinks with burger meals weekdays.
