Three-star Isle of Skye hotel changes hands

The Ardvasar Hotel, a 3-star hotel on the south of the Isle of Skye has been sold through Christie & Co, off an asking price of £825k.

The 10-bedroom hotel which has stunning views over the Sound of Sleat has been bought by an experienced local operator.

One of the oldest hotels on Skye with a popular restaurant inside, the business was put on the market following previous owner’s decision to retire after 40 years in the hospitality industry.

Stuart Drysdale, Associate Director at Christie & Co, commented, “This is a very profitable hotel with a strong turnover and we are sure that the new owners will continue the business’s success. We wish them all the luck for the future.”
