Revolution Bars Group has celebrated its one millionth cocktail masterclass, with 150,000 bookings in over 12,000 classes per year; equating to 2,400 per week across all sites since they began in 2008.
Each consumer masterclass includes groups of at least six people with a mixologist guiding them through several techniques before inviting them behind the bar to make their own.
Designed as a team-building exercise that focuses on engagement, problem solving, communication and competition, although a significant number of bookings come from hen parties and birthdays, Revolution is seeing a rise in corporate events which has resulted in the launch of their corporate masterclass packages.
Corporate bookings can tailor their sessions with additional bartenders and can extend their class to two hours – half an hour longer than consumer workshops. Selected add-ons can also be incorporated into the bespoke masterclass, including snacks and three-course dining packages.
