Revamped North London pub reopens as Young’s managed house

Lord Palmerston on Dartmouth Park Hill in North London’s Tufnell Park, reopens its doors today as a part of the Young’s Managed Estate.

The previously tenanted establishment has undergone an extensive refurbishment with original features, including the fireplaces, wooden flooring and bar, fully restored and complemented by a collection of contemporary artwork and geometric patterned wallpaper.

In keeping with its ethos of providing food-led pubs, Young’s have introduced a new 25-cover dining area, The Diary, which also features The Viscount Table - a sharing/community table for up to eight diners.

The menu features carefully sourced seasonal fresh British dishes and includes sharing boards, rotating seasonal specials and classic pub dishes such as the Palmerston Beef Burger, and Young’s Ale Battered cod.

The bar has a wide selection of London craft beers alongside classic Young’s Bitter and Special. An extensive wine list and collection of premium spirits are also available.

In addition to the main pub, the Lord Palmerston upstairs private dining room can host 35 seated or 60 standing whilst al fresco dining and drinking is available in the rear courtyard and front terrace.

General Manager, Carlos Loureiro commented, “We greatly look forward to greeting locals once again to the Lord Palmerston, as well as welcoming new faces, ensuring that this remains a pub for the whole community to enjoy.”
