A new General Manager has been appointed to lead the team at Holiday Inn Express Middlesbrough – Centre Square.
Nick Price, who has more than 10 years’ experience in the hotel industry, has taken up the post to lead the 20-strong team.
He will look after the 159-bed, city centre hotel which is located within the Cleveland Centre, just five minutes’ walk from the local train station.
Price, originally from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has worked for recognisable brands across the UK including Best Western, Close House Hotel & Golf and Marriott International.
He joins the Middlesbrough hotel just weeks after the property was awarded WorldHost® Recognised Business status for its commitment to customer service.
Price said, “I’m thrilled to join the team at Middlesbrough. Since opening in 2015, the hotel has built a fantastic reputation in terms of outstanding service and involvement in the local community. I’m keen to continue this and to work even harder to ensure a top-class environment for the team, as well as outstanding experiences for our guests.”
The hotel is operated by the UK’s leading independent hotel management company, Redefine|BDL Hotels (RBH).
