Scoff & Banter partners with Natural History Museum Ice Rink for ultimate festive treat

Londoners and tourists alike can take a spin around one of London’s most enchanting outdoor ice rinks before completing the experience with a reviving repast at one of its favourite restaurants as the Natural History Museum Ice Rink and Scoff & Banter South Kensington join forces for the perfect festive treat.

Against the iconic backdrop of Alfred Waterhouse’s spectacular building, this huge 1,000 square metre ice rink, with a sparkling 30ft Christmas tree adorned with twinkling fairy lights (76,000 of them no less!) as its centre piece, epitomises the glamour of the capital during the winter months.

Similarly loved by the local community and visitors to the area, Scoff & Banter Kensington offers a range of imaginative, hearty and contemporary British food prepared from only the finest locally sourced ingredients.

From now until 7 January, Scoff & Banter will be offering an ice skating session plus a two-course meal. Diners can choose from such mouth-watering fare as Chargrilled chicken, avocado & smoked crispy bacon salad followed by Breaded corn-fed chicken with a warm garlic & herb butter or perhaps Fish pie with salmon, cod & prawns in a creamy white wine sauce.

Those with a sweet tooth might prefer to forego the starter in favour of one of Scoff & Banter’s celebrated puds, including Warm Bramley apple crumble served with vanilla custard – perfect for keeping out those winter chills!

Located in stylish South Kensington, Edwardian Group London's Scoff & Banter is located in the beautiful old Vanderbilt family mansion. Decorated with reclaimed furniture and fittings, as well as intricately detailed high ceilings, the restaurant is consistent with the authentic building design. Along with elegant bay windows and high sharing tables, the venue creates a sense of communal yet refined comfort.
