Leon partners with Thai food group to launch new concept in London

Naturally fast food chain, Leon has confirmed that it is teaming up with Bangkok-based Thai food group, Aylmer Aaharn, to launch a joint venture in Central London this April.

Using the fast food capabilities and principles of Leon, Tuk Shop will combine Aylmer Aaharn's distinctive flavours to create a menu focused on Thai classics like curries, noodles, rice dishes and salads.

Aylmer Asharn is co-owned and managed by Michelin award-winning chef David Thompson (pictured) and Aylmer Capital.

The new dining venture will launch with a pop-up in an existing Leon restaurant in London's West End in early April.

Thompson opened Nahm in 2001 in The Halkin hotel in London, and received a Michelin star within six months. Other openings followed to great acclaim and his latest restaurant, Long Chim, has locations in Singapore, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
