New gourmet chicken concept opens at Bristol shopping centre

The first Happy Bird, Bristol's new gourmet chicken concept, has just opened at Clifton Down Shopping Centre.

The firm, which was founded by Adam Batty, only uses free range chicken, raised with care and for longer in the Yorkshire countryside with its corn diet, supplemented by fresh herbs, to give it its unique taste.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, the 'chicken masters' cook it to perfection every time, offering it with a frequently changing range of unique sauces using diverse flavours from around the world, all painstakingly created from scratch by the executive chef.

The menu serves up wings, wraps, burgers and salads, along with protein and green shakes and sides of fries, spicy rice, sweet potato wedges and 'slaw.

Other beverages include beer, cocktails and soft drinks, plus there is ice cream, which comes in indulgent or healthy varieties.

Happy Bird only uses environmentally-friendly packaging, build eco-friendly stores and deliver using electric scooters and bicycles.
