Flemings Mayfair announces new F&B ops manager

Luxury boutique hotel Flemings Mayfair has promoted Agnieszka Josko from Restaurant Manager to Food and Beverage Operations Manager.

Josko joined Flemings Mayfair in January 2016 to launch Ormer Mayfair, headed up by Michelin-awarded chef Shaun Rankin, ensuring the food, service and team were of the highest standards. Since opening in September 2016, the restaurant has picked up an impressive number of media accolades and awards including being voted 5th best restaurant in London by the Harden’s Guide and making the top 10 list of restaurants for 2018 from Open Table.

Her new role will see Josko manage all aspects of Food and Beverage operations across the entire hotel including overseeing strategic planning and sales and marketing. She will also remain fully in charge of the restaurant and the front of house team at Ormer Mayfair.

Josko had previously worked with Shaun Rankin at his Michelin-starred Jersey restaurant, Bohemia, in 2004, and also held positions at an array of Michelin-starred establishments including The Greenhouse, Gordon Ramsay at Claridge’s and Helene Darroze at The Connaught.

Josko commented, “I am hugely excited to be stepping into this new role. With the help of our team, I will ensure we maintain an unparalleled level of customer service and the highest level of food and beverage quality.”

Founded in 1851 and converted from 13 Georgian townhouses, Flemings Mayfair offers unrivalled luxury accommodation in one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. The family-owned property is a leading member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and, as part of a £16m refurbishment, boasts 129-room new-look bedrooms, suites and townhouse apartments, as well as a Drawing Room, restaurant and bar.
