Wine bar, grocery & shop to open in Kentish Town

Authentique Epicerie & Bar, wine bar, grocery and shop is set to open in 20 March 2018, with an official opening date of 6 April, in Kentish Town, NW5.

An all-French team will launch this wine bar and delicatessen on Fortess Road, which will also sell French food and serve as a wine store too.

This new launch is the brainchild of Alexandre Bal, Senior Sales Executive at Yapp Brothers wine merchants, Amaury Levisalles (pictured), Matthieu Sevagen from Majestic in Mayfair, and Thomas Guidez.

The wine bar and grocery will be selling 200 different wines, plus some fine wines in larger formats. There will also be around 75 different craft beers and foods such as cheeses and charcuterie.

The food offering will change every month with the region. There'll be a vegan board, a classic and one from the region. Hot dishes will include baked cheese and soup, and there'll be fresh dishes like salads.

The shop will serve up ranges of pates, tapenades etc, which customers can enjoy in the bar.

A conservatory-style space will be added at the back of the outlet, which can be booked for private parties.

Opening hours will be Monday to Saturday, with the shop opening at 11am, and the bar will open from 3-4pm until 11.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
