£850k Surrey village pub changes hands

The Bull, a Grade II-listed pub in the Surrey village of Limpsfield, has been sold through Christie & Co, off a freehold asking price of £850k.

The pub boasts two main trading areas, as well as a beautifully presented decked area and garden at the back of the venue. Located in the heart of the village, the popular privately owned freehouse attracted a significant amount of interest and has been purchased by a group of local investors.

James Hughes, Business Agent at Christie & Co who handled the sale, commented, “I was delighted to facilitate the transaction on behalf of Sue Dickens and wish her well for the future as she exits the sector. Having owned The Bull for the last 10 years, she has done a tremendous job building up the business and leaves it in great shape for the new owners.

“Pubs which are still viable businesses are all too often being snapped up by developers to be converted into housing or other alternative uses, so in this case, it’s fantastic to be assisting in reopening the doors on what is a superb pub.”
