Blythswood Square celebrates Pride Glasgow with film screening & cocktails

The Principal Blythswood Square Hotel, Glasgow is celebrating Pride Glasgow with a special screening of last year’s cult film, 'Call Me By Your Name'.

The Oscar-winning film will be shown on Sunday 15 July at an exclusive screening in the five-star hotel’s Cinema Club. Complete with quirky vibrant Harris Tweed cinema seats, the screening room is the the perfect colourful venue for Pride Glasgow.

The 2017 hit film is a coming-of-age romantic drama directed by Luca Guadagnino and written by James Ivory, that quickly gained cult status worthy of a masterpiece.

Guests can settle into the comfortable chairs as they sip a cocktail and snack on cinema favourite popcorn while watching the gay love story between 17-year-old Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet) and his professor father's 24-year-old graduate-student assistant Oliver (Armie Hammer).

Tickets are priced £25 per person and include two cocktails from the rainbow special edition cocktail menu created especially for Pride Glasgow.

The limited edition menu offers five cocktails in the colours of the LGBT rainbow flag all named after gay icons - Judy, Priscilla, Divine, Little Eadie and Peach Season - priced from £9 each, and will be available in The Salon Friday 13 July to Friday 20July.

Limited tickets are available and can be purchased from Event Brite.
