Globally renowned chef Alberico Penati has opened the latest Italian restaurant from his San Carlo Group, and the first in London, San Carlo on Regent Street, in St James’s London.
Using the finest Italian produce, San Carlo has launched with a summer menu, with dishes such as Dorset Crab Antipasti; carpaccio of seabass with fennel, olive, capers & herb oil; Risotto Vialone Nano with langoustine ragu & basil and Zabaione cream with vintage Marsala. Also included will be a collection of sharing plates for two including Insalata di Frutti di Mare.
Diners can also choose from more than 150 wines, from exclusively imported vintages to great value house selections, with many available by the half bottle and the glass.
The London restaurant joins sister sites in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, and Manchester. The group operates another 14 restaurants under various brands such as Fumo and Cicchetti.
