Acclaimed jazz club & restaurant pops up at N15 venue

Karve, the jazz club-come-restaurant pop-up, will be serving refined home comforts on 5 August at Five Miles, the bar, club and brewery in Seven Sisters, London N15.

Karve is the creation of chef Trystan-Ross Williams, musician Tim Thornton and operations manager Amy Newbury, who combine their mutual love of food and music in this pop-up.

Jay Rayner, the Observer's restaurant critic, has been wowed by Karve - “The best food and music combo in London right now,' he's exclaimed.

This will be Karve's 4th pop-up outing at Five Miles, but for the first time the trio will be collaborating with award-winning saxophonist Leo Richardson, who will be curating the evening’s entertainment with his quartet.

The evening will consist of a choice of starter and main course bookended by two sets of bespoke music written by Richardson in tandem with the menu. There will be dishes such as Beef Short Rib Doughnut with rarebit sauce, and Tomato, Raspberry, Ricotta & Thai Basil, which is pictured.

The music will be accompanied by sharing snacks and desserts for the table, which will include William’s prawn cocktail given a blast on the coals in the first set and a stone fruit bread and butter pudding in the last.

The summer menu will be bursting with fresh flavours and we will have the BBQ fired up with some rare breed pork to celebrate the hot weather, incredible Fish and Chips in the fryer and a veggie friendly menu too!

Five Miles will have the taps well stocked with their fantastic brews, and tickets can be secured for £15 at www.karvefood.com/tickets
