Award-winning Executive Head Chef joins Manchester airport hotel


Clayton Hotel Manchester Airport has welcomed award-winning James Williams as the new Executive Head Chef.

Williams brings more than 18 years of experience to his role, having worked for some of the UK’s most highly reputable hotels, such as Malmaison, Crowne Plaza and De Vere Village Hotels. He will bring a fresh and innovative dimension to the culinary experience here at the Clayton Hotel.

In his new capacity as Head Chef, Williams will oversee all food aspects of the hotel where he will showcase his extensive knowledge of cooking skills and also kitchen management. Having worked across a range of demographics he will bring a new outlook to the dining experience at the hotel and also a competitive edge within the market place.

Michael Sheldon, General Manager, said, ‘‘I am delighted to announce the appointment of Jimmy as our new Executive Head Chef. Bringing exceptional culinary knowledge and extensive quality branded and volume experience, we very much welcome Jimmy to Clayton Hotels and Dalata Hotel Group.
