Boxpark Wembley today announces a new partnership deal with online food delivery giant Just Eat, ahead of the site opening to the public next month.
The deal with Just Eat secures special delivery rates and free sign up for Boxpark Wembley vendors to join the leading online marketplace for takeaway food, connecting them with Just Eat’s established customer base in Wembley Park and North-West London. The partnership will also see the rapidly expanding delivery food giant invest in co-branded marketing and events programming at Boxpark’s 2,000 capacity venue space over the next year.
Graham Corfield, UK Managing Director of Just Eat, said, “Wembley Park has established itself as a London destination, attracting students, businesses and fans of the major music and sporting events. We’re excited to be working with Boxpark to offer great food for delivery and collection through Just Eat, and look forward to extending our calendar of foodie events to the Wembley area.”
Living up to its Eat. Drink. Play. manifesto, the incredible selection of independent food and beverage units at Boxpark Wembley will be complemented by a fully programmed 20,000 sq ft dedicated events space complete with algorithmic light installations. Traders announced to date include: Cut + Grind, Drums & Flats, Nanny Bills, Smoky Boys, Mitsuryu, Kabab, Spice Shack, Zia Lucia, The Athenian, Ugly Dumpling and Thai Express.
Roger Wade, Founder and CEO of Boxpark, said, “We’re thrilled to announce this partnership with Just Eat. As leaders in their field, it made perfect sense to team up with to bring Boxpark and its Eat. Drink. Play philosophy to Wembley Park and the surrounding area”.
Famous for Wembley Stadium and the SSE Arena, Boxpark’s arrival in Wembley Park promises to give locals and visitors alike a world-class leisure and dining experience even on days when there isn’t a major event. Boxpark will drive footfall to the rapidly expanding area, solidifying Wembley Park as a cultural hub full of incredible restaurants and one-of-a-kind events.
